Set on 4.25 acres, an enchanting set of steps lead you past exposed rock faces to 200ft of private water front with dock & decking area for diving, swimming & relaxing. We like to refer to Redstone Lake as the jewel of The Haliburton Highlands. The cottage is elevated and perched proudly to take advantage of the expansive long lake views. If you are looking for privacy, tranquility & relaxation, look no further!
Boasting rich reclaimed elm wood flooring throughout, our 3 bedroom sanctuary comfortably sleeps 6 across three luxurious king beds. – all linens & towels are provided with compliments. The Birchwood features an open plan living area with a cathedral ceiling finished in pine and double height windows – the interior is flooded with natural daylight to make for a light, easy & breezy stay.
The new gourmet kitchen comes fully equipped with all of the small & large appliances & utensils needed to create a delicious meal to share with family and friends. Basic spices, olive oil, tea & coffee are provided with compliments.
There are two full bathrooms – one on the main floor and another one the second floor which acts as an en-suite with full washer and dryer.
The three season screened in ‘Haliburton Room’ acts as the perfect rustic escape from those super warm summer days, or as an evening retreat to crack out the board games!
Our expansive deck can be enjoyed all day long with beautiful lounging & dining furniture, gas BBQ, and a hot tub with views that are second to none! Just off the deck to the rear of the property, there is a fire pit to enjoy on those cooler evenings.
Redstone lake is part of a 3 lake chain for miles of exploring and crystal clear water for swimming, diving, relaxing – you name it! Down by our beautifully natural and rugged shore line, we upgraded two decked platforms and added chairs for you to relax and soak up some Vitamin D. There is a 4 person Pedal Boat, two Kayaks and two Paddle Boards for you to use with compliments – 6 adult life jackets in varying sizes are provided, as well as two youth life jackets. There are approximately 120 steps through the beautiful forest to access the water front.
The cottage is just minutes from the 100,000 acre Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve with its groomed hiking and biking trails and world-famous Wolf Observatory. Nestled deep in the woods, The Birchwood Haliburton is a pristine gem in the heart of Ontario’s vacation paradise.
