Parc de la Creueta del Coll

La Creueta del Coll is a sheltered park, with a big lake people can swim in during the summer, an enormous 6,000 m2 square and places to rest under the shade of the acacias. For local residents, it is one of the main meeting and leisure points in the neighbourhood.

This expansive park offers three hectares of green space, flora and fauna to explore. Located in Gràcia, it is particularly popular in the summer thanks to its large family-friendly outdoor swimming pool. What’s more, with picnic areas, play parks, toilets and locker rooms, it makes for the perfect family day out.

A large square, bounded in part by a pergola and protected at the back by the walls of what used to be a quarry, welcomes visitors entering the park from Passeig de la Mare de Déu del Coll.
Paths climb upwards in the midst of a luxuriant vegetation of trees and shrubs.

Right at the top, in the wood, there is a picnic area, adorned on one side by the green of the pine trees and, on the other, by plants that have steadily grown and add colour to the walls of the old El Coll quarry. The view of the city is spectacular.
