This is a rare and special blend of country style boutique accommodation that is located just moments to heritage listed Port Fairy township and stunning coastal beaches and walks. For the past seventeen years the property has contained a tea room with the owners residing in the main house – but now the entire property is available for short term accommodation stays and eventually venue hire.
The main house or Country House as we like to refer to it and the Clonmara Stone Cottage were built in circa 1855 and exudes all the warmth and charm of a by gone era. They are beautifully presented, have all the creature comforts of modern day life plus more and we are so excited to be offering them for guests to enjoy.
The outbuildings that we also offer consist of two separate cottages and two Farm Cottages that co-exist within the beautiful gardens and four acres of land you are welcome to stroll around. The cottages and apartments are warm and comfy for winter with gas fires and cool for the heat of summer with air con throughout in these peaceful surrounds.
A genuine treat is our gorgeous and friendly band of 5 alpacas and number of chooks that you are welcome to feed and pet – our kids are happy to come over and give you tips on feeding and petting them!
At Clonmara we want to say that your stay and experience is our priority. We are on hand nearby for any assistance and to offer our laid back country lifestyle we enjoy so much… but we also respect your privacy and each guests preferences and will work to accommodate you in whatever way is best for you.
Port Fairy is a small thriving coastal village situated in South West Victoria, Australia. Clonmara Country House & Cottages are located on the corner of Albert Road and the Princes Highway; just a two minute drive or a leisurely twenty minute walk to the centre of town.
For your arrival please just call/text or email us and we can either meet you at the property to let you in or advise instructions on making your way to your accommodation. There is ample parking at the rear and side of the property on Albert Road. If you are arriving later than 6.30pm or running later than anticipated, please make sure you have made contact with us so you are not inconvenienced in anyway at all.
